On September 29th a virtual meeting of the partners from Austria took place. It started off with a personal presentation of the participants and their organisation. Even though the objective of the meeting was only to get acquainted for the first time and prepare for the kick-off-meeting in Spain in the next week, we immersed deep into the project contents. The big variety of organisations, from representatives from organic food producers to supermarkets; from waste awareness organisations to researchers, included in the ToNoWaste project offers a holistic view on food waste, therefore solutions provided within the project will be called out from very different points of view.
It became clear in a very short time that there is a big need for room for discussion on a sophisticated level within the consortium how to tackle the challenges of this project.
